Isaac Perry Trolley Tour

Join the Phelps Mansion Museum on Path Through History Weekend. We will be offering a special tour that will take a closer look at the architecture of Isaac G. Perry. Perry came to Binghamton around 1854 to oversee the building of the New York State Inebriate Asylum. For the next 50 years he made a name for himself as one of the Binghamton’s leading architects. This tour will include background information on Isaac Perry and a closer look at his buildings. We will also view the interiors of his 3 churches, Centenary Methodist (Landmark), St. Patrick’s, and First Congregational. (Please note we will not have access to interior spaces in any other buildings on the tour) Our final stop will be Spring Forest Cemetery-at this stop we will walk to the gravesite of Isaac Perry. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather
