Join us for the 5th Annual Juneteenth in Queens Festival as we go Black to the Future—a powerful celebration of Black freedom, joy, imagination, and resilience.  Rooted in legacy and powered by creativity, this year’s theme invites us to honor our past while boldly envisioning the future of our communities. From the ancestral to the futuristic, Black to the Future explores what freedom looks like when we center healing, innovation, art, and collective liberation.  Experience a vibrant day of:  Live performances by musicians, poets, and dancers, Black-owned business marketplace + food court, Futuristic art, tech, and cultural activations, Civic engagement and community organizing zones, Healing spaces, youth activities, and intergenerational storytelling, The return of our signature BLACK-TIVITIES throughout the park  Held in the heart of Southeast Queens, this free festival commemorates the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—while lifting up the legacy of Black resistance in our own neighborhoods.
