Juneteenth is the oldest, nationally celebrated commemoration of the historical event of 1865 in Galveston, Texas which declared the ending of slavery in the United States of America.

The annual Juneteenth Family Day Festival gathers the NYC community to enjoy a vibrant day of rich culture through music, dance, poetry, skits, history, vendors, and family activities. Catch the parade (starting at Gotham Health Center traveling toward Gershwin Park), Fashion Show, Showcase and more!
