Needle Felted Flower Meadow Workshop

In this workshop, Grey Fox Felting will introduce you to the basic techniques of needle felting, as you are guided in creating a colorful meadow of flowers. Using a sheet of wool felt as the canvas, you'll learn how to layer colors and create different textures and shapes by making repeated pokes with a special felting needle. You'll leave the class with a beautiful work of art, framed in a wood embroidery hoop and ready to hang on your wall! Instructor Erin Gardner is the founder and co-owner of Grey Fox Felting in Sauquoit, NY, and she has been sharing her love of needle felting through workshops and her growing line of felting kits for 8 years. Erin works primarily in the medium of needle felted wool, drawing inspiration from nature to create two-dimensional and sculptural work.
