Old Tyme Fiddling hosts Irish-American Fiddler

Join the New York State Old Tyme Fiddler's for a free concert. Pat Kane plays the music from Ireland and America on fiddle, guitar, and bodhran. While Pat grew up in the tradition of the Grange on the family farm in the hills near the Canisteo River, his frequent visits to his cousins on the family farm in West Clare Ireland have greatly influenced his music. Pat is a seasoned soloist, who plays jigs, reels, airs, and hundreds of ballads from Ireland and America, playing every occasion from wakes to weddings on both sides of the Atlantic. Since 1994, he has been the leader of the band, West o’Clare., the name influenced by the Irish homestead. During the concert patrons are invited to visit the museum and enjoy refreshments.
