Racin' Through History! Boats, Floats, Rails & Trails

The Brick Tavern Museum will have special hours on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. A special scavenger hunt will take place allowing people to explore the role of transportation throughout Schuyler County's rich history. Scavenger Hunt packets will be available at the Brick Tavern Museum, The Walkin' History - "the Seneca Lake Transportation Highway," and our tent at the Waterfront Festival. Racin' History: Boats, Floats, Rails and Trails will follow Schuyler County's transportation highways by boats, floating canal barges, trains, and race cars that blazed trails through our streets and county roads. Scavenger Hunt participants will explore parts of Seneca Harbor Park, area near and around the Watkins Glen State Park, and of course, the Brick Tavern Museum. The Walkin' History - Seneca Lake Transportation Highway will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15th. Meet at the Seneca Harbor Pier.
