In recognition of celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and our nation's founding, the Verona Town Historian, Jeff Blanchard, will be delivering a presentation detailing the history of three fascinating and unique Revolutionary Veterans that once lived in the Town of Verona, New York. Attendees can expect to have a safe and educational experience as they learn about the Battle of Long Island (largest battle of the Revolutionary War), fortifications of the Continental Army in New York City, what Privateers did on the high seas and what Revolutionary War Veterans did and accomplished after the war. Attendees will leave inspired to honor the legacy of these Revolutionary War Veterans both now and in the future.
