Sanctuary City

A girl, a boy, and a fire escape—​sounds like the start of many conventional love stories, but Sanctuary City is anything but conventional. Now teenagers, when G climbs the fire escape of their New Jersey apartment and lands in B’s bedroom, they become each other’s sanctuary from the harsh realities of their everyday lives. But when circumstances change the two must ask themselves what they’re willing to sacrifice for the place—and people—they call home.
