Sufferage, Race and Quakers: Principles v Pragmatism


Judith Wellman will present goals, strategies, and compromises in the struggle for Women’s Suffrage highlighting these Quaker women: Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony, and Alice Paul. Co-sponsored w/ 1816 Farmington Quaker Meeting House Museum and part of a series on the intersection of race and the Women’s Suffrage Movement. This talk is free with paid admission.
