Summer Solstice Forest Bathing & Sound Healing

Details

Celebrate the summer solstice during this special event co-hosted by certified forest therapist, Cindy Olsen, and sound healer, Dayna Gralla. Enjoy a mindful stroll in the woods and connect with nature through sensory exploration inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, “forest bathing”. This journey will lead you to the Glacial Erratic for a restorative sound healing experience where crystal singing bowls, chimes, and a variety of soothing instruments will guide your meditation. Finish with herbal tea under the trees as you take a moment to reflect. The walk is 1 mile round trip. No dogs please. Photo courtesy of Briana Codella. Max: 30 people. Ages 18+. Cost: $8. Parking: $6 per vehicle. RockefellerStateParkPreserve.org/events
