Sweet Corn Festival

Celebrate the arrival of one of the best parts of a long Island Summer – Harbes' own super-sweet corn! Don’t miss our Corn Eating Contests! They will be held in the Barnyard Adventure at 2:30 pm & 4:30 pm on both Saturday & Sunday. There’ll be FREE LIVE MUSIC in our courtyard/picnic area both days from 1-5 pm. Saturday, the talented Nick Kerzner is scheduled to perform. Sunday, singer/guitarist Thomas Moran makes his debut on the farm. While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! The Barnyard admission includes a Musical Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm and our famous pig races. There are also farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, our musical animatronic chicken show, and much more. Harbes Wine Barn, located behind the main farmstand, is a wine lover’s dream! In our 100-year-old renovated potato barn, we offer tastings of our award-winning wines and wine by the glass or bottle. You won’t want to miss our delicious foods during your visit! Of course, we’ll be offering Harbes famous roasted sweet corn. There will also be delicious tomato/mozzarella paninis and much more. Please don’t miss our mouthwatering selection of homemade ice cream – including sweet corn ice cream!
