Tea and Cookies at The Marvin House

This stunning example of E.G.W. Dietrich’s “shingle style” architecture is the backdrop as you travel back in time. The shingle style home came into fashion in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. The Marvin House seamlessly blends elements from the Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, and Eastlake styles. Vastly different design styles intermingle with one another to produce an environment of enchantment enjoyed by the upper class of the 1900s.
