The People's Final: World Cup Watch Party

The Trust for Governors Island is pleased to present The People’s Final: A Celebration of Soccer, Community & NYC on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1 to 6PM on Governors Island in honor of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final. Immersed within the stunning backdrop of the Lower Manhattan skyline on the Island’s historic Parade Ground, the event will feature a large-scale public screening of the third place and final match, soccer clinics and open play opportunities, live DJs and special performances, family-centered activities, and international food vendors highlighting the diverse heritage of New York City.
