Twilight Tour of Mansions on Delaware Avenue

Join Explore Buffalo and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site for an exclusive opportunity to tour inside mansions on Delaware Avenue! The Twilight Tour of Mansions is a step back in time to Buffalo's Gilded Age, with an opportunity to see unique craftsmanship and architectural detail in each mansion on the tour. This tour is also an opportunity to see the various ways in which these mansions are being used today.

We are excited to welcome the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation to the Twilight Tour for the first time in 2026! Participating locations include the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site; Westminster Presbyterian Church; the Clement Mansion, home to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; Cellino Law at the Knox Mansion; Temple Beth Zion; OWM Integrative Wellness at the Foster Mansion; the Saturn Club; and Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, including the church and carriage house.

Due to the historic nature of these properties, many locations have steps at the entrance and/or inside the buildings. The second floor of the Knox Mansion, home to Cellino Law, will be open along with the basement ballroom - please note that stairs are required to visit both the second floor and basement at the Knox Mansion. 

How the Tour Works: 

Start at one of our tour check-in locations, where you'll pick up a map of the participation locations. Check-in Locations open at 4:30pm. We will have your name on the guest list when you arrive - you do not need to bring a printed ticket or email confirmation. Tour Check-in Locations: 

• Blessed Sacrament Church at 1029 Delaware Avenue (north end of the tour) 
• Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site at 641 Delaware Avenue (south end of the tour) 
• Kleinhans Music Hall (Park-and-Ride Shuttle Location - see below)

The Twilight Tour of Mansions is self-guided from one location to the next: you can visit the locations in whatever order you choose and at your own pace. Docents inside each location will share some of the history as you walk through. Please note that some locations have steps at the entrance and are not fully accessible. 

Tickets are available with start times of 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, and 6:30pm. Tour locations open at 5pm and close at 9pm. In general, plan on about two hours to go through all the locations. Driving from one location to the next is not recommended. Total distance between the ends of the tour - the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site to Blessed Sacrament Church - is 0.9 miles. The Twilight Tour of Mansions proceeds rain or shine: dress for the weather, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. 

Ticket Options: 

• VIP Tickets - $95: Includes general admission ticket access to all Twilight Tour locations, plus a reception with wine, beer, and light hors d'oeuvres at the Saturn Club from 5-7pm. 
• General Admission Tickets - $40
  Includes access to all Twilight Tour locations on Delaware Avenue. Choose from 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, or 6:30pm start times; each of these start times will allow ample time to tour each participating location. 
• Explorer Pass Member & TR Site Member Tickets - $35
• Ticket prices will increase by $5 on Monday, June 1st from the presale price of $40 General Admission / $35 Member Admission
• The Twilight Tour of Mansions is a special event and Explore Buffalo Walking Tour Passes cannot be redeemed for Twilight Tour tickets.
