Two Lights for Tomorrow: On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere rode to Lexington, warning of the British approach. Behind him, the Old North Church tower shone, “two if by sea.” On April 18, 2025 commemorate his legendary ride by shining Two Lights at your home or business! Take a photo of your lights and use #Saratoga250 to win Saratoga 250 merch! Luminary bags will be available at town halls while supplies last and at the Saratoga County Historian's Office. Community Storytime Opportunity & Make Your Own Lantern: An educator from the Saratoga County Historian’s Office will visit your location to read a book about Paul Revere, discuss the importance of the event, and distribute materials to create luminaries to participate in the nation-wide “Two Lights for Tomorrow” commemoration on April 18th. Tuesday 4/15 – Mechanicville Public Library at 11am Wednesday 4/16 – Brookside Museum at 11am Thursday 4/17 – Schuylerville Public Library at 11am.
