Washington County Knox Parade

Join us in Fort Edward, NY, for a once-in-a-lifetime reenactment of the Henry Knox Trail! Step back in time to become part of the “Noble Train of Artillery” that Colonel Knox led from Crown Point to Boston in the winter of 1775 – 1776.

This brave act came to be known as one of the greatest feats of the American Revolution, turning the tides of the 10-month siege and bolstering the Continental Army’s ability to fight back against the British.

Washington County will host a Knox commemorative parade. The trail will begin at Fort Edward Jr./Sr. High School, then follow the old military road (now known as Route 4) to the Old Fort House Museum, where the Washington County leg will conclude with a wreath laying ceremony.
