Wilmington Whiteface MTB Race

Wilmington will serve as one of six qualifier series race host venues for the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race, the best known and most prestigious mountain bike race in North America. Whiteface Mountain is the backdrop for this race, comprising a rocky summit and amazing vistas. Whiteface boasts the highest vertical drop of any ski resort east of the Rockies. Current and past Olympic heroes have hurtled down its steep slopes in winter, but you'll take a different approach — straight up! The race begins and ends at Whiteface Mountain. In between it will trace the jeep roads near Jay and Saddleback mountains, ending with a climb up the front of Whiteface. The reward — breathtaking vistas of Montreal, Vermont, New England, and the sprawling Adirondack wilderness.
