Join Local Birding Expert and Guide Joan Collins from Adirondack Avian Expeditions for a two-days of birding tours and an afternoon presentation. Winter 2018 boasts an unusual abundance of cone crops, seeds and berries in our rich boreal forest. The cone crops are bumper and the Audubon Society identified the Central Adirondacks as the place to be to spot boreal finches, Red Crossbills and Pine Siskins. There will be an option tour on Saturday morning at 7a.m. with main birding car safari Sunday at 7 a.m. There will be a presentation by Joan Collins on Saturday, January 27th at 4 p.m. at the Long Lake Town Hall followed by reception and a dinner at the Adirondack Hotel. Pre-registration required. Call 518–624-3077 to register. All events and tours are free except for dinner.
