Women in Food: Cooking From Good Things by Samin Nosrat

Details

Join New York Kitchen this International Women’s Day for a joyful, delicious, hands-on cooking class honoring the women who shape the way we cook, eat, and gather. In this special Women in Food Celebration, you will prepare a selection of approachable recipes inspired by Good Things, the newest book from award-winning chef, teacher, and author Samin Nosrat.

Together, you will cook food that reflects Samin’s signature philosophy—simple techniques, thoughtful ingredients, and lots of heart—while celebrating the power of women’s voices in the culinary world. Along the way, you will share stories, build skills, and enjoy the pleasure of cooking and eating in community.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Samin Nosrat or discovering her work for the first time, this class is an invitation to slow down, cook with intention, and celebrate creativity, nourishment, and connection. Grab your gal pals and prepare to leave this class with full bellies – and full hearts!

For this class, 1 ticket is for 1 person. Their Hands-On Kitchen is designed for two people per station. If you come on your own, you may be partnered with another guest in the class. If you’d prefer to be at your own station, we may be able to accommodate this, please note your preference during the checkout process.

If you would like to purchase a copy of Good Things by Samin Nosrat, please consider ordering from their friends at Read It & Eat Bookshop, an independent cookbook store in Buffalo, NY (and online retailer!). Use code RIAENYKitch at checkout for a 15% discount!
