Women of the Martin House

Experience a special tour inspired by the women of the Martin House. Explore the Martin House through the lens of the women who lived and worked within in the house, while also exploring the changing times for women in the US around the turn of the 20th century.

 

This 90-minute, docent-led tour will take you to special places in the Martin House not available on most tours, including the Guest Suite and the ballroom. Note: This tour is not wheelchair accessible. There is stair climbing involved. 

 

Visitors will tour the following areas:

 • Courtyard Garden

 • Martin House - including the guest suite of rooms and the ballroom in the lower level

 • Pergola

 • Conservatory

 • Carriage House, including our Museum Store
