Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild Artist in Residency open studios, tours

Details

America’s second-oldest arts colony, Byrdcliffe — a 300-acre arts colony founded in 1902 — is on the National Register of Historic Places. Byrdcliffe offers year-round events, exhibitions and classes, including a robust artist-in-residency program. AiR residents will open their studios to the public on June 15th from 1-4 followed by a reading with writers participating on the artist-in-residency program from 4-5. A tour of White Pines, home of Byrdcliffe founder Ralph Radcliffe Whitehead, will be offered by historian Henry T. Ford on June 15 at noon.
