Kicking Off the Mental Health Conversation: Support, Self-Care, Soccer!
Join us for an all-ages, family-friendly event that brings together soccer, self-care, and community, raising awareness for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and NAMI Westchester (National Alliance on Mental Illness) while celebrating how movement, play, and team connection can support emotional resilience and a stronger sense of belonging. Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health leads this valuable conversation.

Parade Staging at Library Plaza (Starting Point)

  • Create your own team flag with ArtsWestchester’s ArtsMobile! Jump in, get creative, and show your colors.
  • Watch the live chalk artist bring soccer to life with bold, eye-catching designs and uplifting wellness messages.
6:30 - 6:45 pm

Parade participants assemble and line up at Library Plaza.

The Parade of Flags kicks off at Library Plaza and marches to Court Street

The Parade of Flags features a vibrant procession of international flags representing countries from around the world. Let’s celebrate the global spirit of soccer as it moves through the heart of White Plains, led by Public Safety.

7 - 8 pm

Opening Ceremony and Fun on Court Street

  • Remarks from elected officials and sponsors
  • Music, food, entertainment
  • Sponsor activations including The K104.7. Street Team
  • Selfie opportunities
