WWI Dogfight Spectacular

We’re Living History and Family Fun! Our Museum Hall is the wild blue and the artifacts fly. World famous for six decades, with over 80 historic flying and static display aircraft from 1909 to 1943, we present the myth and magic of flight. Thirty antique vehicles run in support.

The WWI Air show features the Sopwiths, SPADs, Fokkers, Bristols, and Albatros fighters flown by the “knights of the sky” dueling overhead. We also fly our Pioneer aircraft and barnstorming Golden Age machines from before and after the War. The Museum is open from 10 AM to 5 PM and the Air Show flies from 2 PM to 4 PM. We’re family friendly–lots for kids to see and do. We’re pet friendly–water is right by the Gift Shop. Food is available at the snack stand. Be sure to bring your camera, you’ll never get closer to the airplanes or the action. And you can be a barnstormer! Our 1929 open cockpit Biplane Rides start at 10:30 AM and run to dusk with a break for the Show. See the Hudson Valley from the air–the River, ships and boats, and a lighthouse with the Catskills as a backdrop. We’re halfway between NYC and the Capital District, just minutes off the Thruway or Taconic Parkway.
