An amateur regatta to be held with any form of motorless boat running the Ischua Creek from Mill St. in Ischua to behind the Hinsdale American Legion (approx. 7.8 miles except length may be shorter due to low water or inclement weather). The Ischua Creek is classified as one of the few Class A trout streams by the NY State Dept. of Environmental Conservation. The stream is home to native trout, ospreys, herons, and the American Bald Eagle. You are equally likely to see deer, bear, otter, beaver and other aquatic animals during your venture.
