Details

See Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and more, all from 5000 feet up. The day awaits you to explore the Adirondacks by air. Each scenic flight is a totally unique Lake Placid attraction in itself. Tours leave from Lake Placid Airport, just a five-minute drive from downtown Lake Placid. You can choose from spectacular views of the High Peaks, cruise over Olympic venues, or navigate above winding Adirondack waterways. Whether this is your first visit to Lake Placid or you’re a regular visitor, you’ve never experienced the Adirondacks like this before! Each flight is approximately 25 minutes in length. Their safety record is perfect since 1968 when Adirondack Flying Service was started, and their knowledgeable pilots will answer any questions you have, point out landmarks and areas of interest, and help you discover more about the history of the Adirondacks. Call ahead to determine availability and to check weather conditions.
