  • The Bedford Audubon Society promotes conservation and protection of wildlife habitats in the northern Westchester and eastern Putnam region through education, advocacy, nature study, and birdwatching. We offer year-round nature programs as well as local walks and hikes. The Society owns and manages several properties for the enjoyment of passive wildlife appreciation: Bylane Farm; John Bull Library; Leon Levy Nature Garden; James Ramsay Hunt & Mary Welsh Parker Sanctuary; Palmer H. Lewis Sanctuary; and Ruth Walgreen Franklin & Winifred Fels Sanctuary.
