Little Italy Endicott Heritage Center

Details

The Heritage Center and Museum provides a location to document, store and display the Endicott Italian American story. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Village of Endicott grew due to massive numbers of immigrants from Europe who came to work for the Endicott-Johnson (EJ) Corp. At the time, local property holders refused to sell land to the Italian immigrants working in the EJ factories. Realizing the problem, the company purchase properties in 1913 and removed the restrictions, which gave way for the emergence of this vibrant community - Little Italy Endicott.
