Long Point State Park is situated on the east side of Cayuga Lake on a V-shaped spit of land extending out into the water. Located just south of the charming village of Aurora and near a number of excellent wineries, the park is mid-distance between the northern and southern ends of the lake. Principally a day-use park in a residential area, Long Point offers a stony beach, a supervised swimming area, a bathhouse, a playground, a boat launch and temporary docking area with two concrete ramps, a gazebo, and a picnic area with tables and grilles. The park has a full-service cottage on the lake that sleeps four. Inside, is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a living room with sleeper sofa, a wood stove, and a kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and sink. Outside, a boat dock, picnic table, fire ring and grill, and a small lawn area. There are no other camping facilities at the park.
