The National Warplane Museum is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, display, and flight of aircraft of the World War II and Korean War eras, as well as the recognition of all United States Military personnel for their service and sacrifice. Every year, the museum puts on the Geneseo Airshow, right from their grass strip airfield called the Greatest Show on Turf! Maintenance and restoration of antique warbirds and classic airplanes. Seasonal aviation events from the unique grass-strip runway. In addition to providing visitors with many informational displays, the Museum also sponsors flight events featuring historic aircraft throughout the year.
