A scant 75 miles northwest of New York City, Mongaup Valley WMA boasts 11, 855 acres of forested rolling hills, streams, steep slopes, and various kinds of wetlands. This wooded habitat is prime hunting grounds for black bear, turkey, and whitetail deer. Seasonal restrictions may apply due to the presence of bald eagles. Bring your binoculars and visit one of the eagle viewing blinds.
