An official Path Through History Site! The Queens Botanical Garden is a sprawling landscape that has inspired, educated, and delighted visitors of all ages since our beginning at the 1939 World's Fair. 39 acres of beautiful landscapes and botanical collections include seasonal displays, native plants and hundreds of majestic trees. Many of the small gardens that compose the site feature plants of particular significance to a certain world culture There is something for everyone--enjoy luscious aromas in the Kaltman Fragrance Walk, discover pollinators in the Bee Garden, or take a stroll on our Green Roof. QBG also offers a wide variety of family-friendly events and programs including concert series, composting workshops, garden tours and seasonal festivals.
