An official Path Through History Site! Mount Lebanon was home to the Central Ministry and governing community for America's Shakers from 1787 to 1947. Shaker Museum | Mount Lebanon is open for tours, programs and exhibitions at the North Family historic site June through October each year. The research library in Old Chatham remains open year-round by appointment, although the museum galleries there are now closed.
