The Wassaic Project is a contemporary art cooperative whose seasonal exhibitions are displayed inside historic and unique Maxon Mills, a converted, seven-story former grain elevator. They host festivals, community events and year-round artist residencies, as well as Art Nest programs geared toward kids of all ages. Maxon Mills is just steps from the Wassaic Train Station at the end of Merto-North Railroad's Harlem Line.
