West Canada Creek Campground is an award-winning, family-owned campground located just 20 minutes from Utica in the scenic foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Nestled along the crystal-clear West Canada Creek - one of New York’s premier stocked trout streams—the campground blends nature-first camping with comfort, charm, and unforgettable riverfront experiences. Guests can choose from spacious RV sites (30 & 50 AMP), riverfront sites, cabins, tent sites, and seasonal sites - all surrounded by towering pines, Adirondack breezes, and the peaceful sound of flowing water. Enjoy tubing and kayaking (with shuttle service), top-tier trout fishing, and a wide range of family-friendly activities including gem mining, themed weekend events, and hay wagon rides. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground, along with a fully stocked camp store. On-site, The Li’l Red Caboose - Treats & Eats offers ice cream, pizza, and seasonal mini donuts on an outdoor patio.
