3,107 acres primarily comprising non-tidal emergent wetlands, the meandering Bashakill River, and deciduous and mixed woods, with some shrub lands. These habitats provide hunting opportunities for a variety of waterfowl, whitetail deer, turkey, and pheasant. Angling opportunities abound along the Basherkill River.
