With a history dating back to the early 1900’s, the newly refurbished Hotel Tivoli and The Corner restaurant opened August 2014 in Tivoli NY.
Formerly the Madalin Hotel, the business remained dormant until artists Brice and Helen Marden purchased the building. With a home and ties in the area, they wanted to revive this corner of the historic village and continue to enjoy the restaurants as they had previously.
Vintage lighting and furniture throughout the building accent the 10 rooms and hand-selected artwork complements the simple, modern décor. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered daily which features items such as house-made scones, muffins and granola, along with fresh fruits, yogurts and jams not to be outshone by their locally roasted Irving Farms artisan coffee.
Hotel amenities include a daily complimentary concierge bar, in-room Voss water and Cowgirl chocolate, and LeLab bath products. The hotel’s Room 6 lounge area has 24hr access to Nespresso coffee, organic teas, snacks and fresh fruit—all complimentary to guests.
The Corner’s menu features local Hudson Valley produce, protein and dairy producers skillfully and artfully prepared by executive chef Devon Gilroy and his culinary team. The restaurant menus change according to availability of ingredients. The charcuterie selections are cured and created on-site.
The custom marble bar serves classic and fresh ingredient cocktails along with a varied selection of wine and beer. Dinner service at The Corner begins nightly at 5:30 PM and Brunch service on weekends at 11 AM.
