McCauley Mountain Ski Center

Details

Nestled in the central Adirondacks just outside Old Forge, McCauley Mountain has a 633-ft vertical drop and packs the terrain of a big mountain resort, without the long lines and high ticket prices. From long cruisers to steep bumps and glades, to double-black diamond challengers, McCauley has it all. Enjoy 21 slopes and trails up to a mile long, a double chairlift, two T-Bar lifts, and rope tows. Two Olympic skiers have come from Old Forge, including 1975 world professional alpine ski champion, Hank Kashiwa. The average annual snowfall is 281 inches, but has reached up to 400 inches. With snowmaking on 65% of the trails, McCauley is able to offer an average base of 120+ inches and 105 days of skiing.
