Staatsburgh State Historic Site

FEATURED
Details

An official Path Through History Site! Designed by McKim, Mead, and White in the late 19th century for capitalist Ogden Mills and his wife Ruth Livingston Mills, Staatsburgh is an elegant Gilded Age country seat overlooking the Hudson River. Set in picturesque grounds dotted with estate buildings, the grand Beaux Arts mansion is sumptuously furnished and recalls the Mills' lavish lifestyle as well as those who helped to support it. Tours, educational programs, and special events are offered throughout the year.
