• Resident tickets can be obtained at the South Ferry office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or on Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Non resident tickets are available on the deck of the boat cash only

The South Ferry Company shuttles both people and vehicles between Shelter Island and North Haven on the South Fork of Long Island’s East End.
To Our Commuter Customers:
Effective Monday, May 3rd, 2021
In order to purchase a South Ferry commuter pass you must present a valid South Ferry Commuter ID Card. ID Cards are being implemented to prevent further abuse of commuter passes. Commuter card applications can be downloaded here or be obtained at the South Ferry office Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. To obtain a Commuter ID Card, customers must show a current pay stub or W2 from a business located in Suffolk County.

Attention customers: Non-emergency late trip requests will no longer be forwarded by calling the police. Emergency medical late trips may be arranged by calling the Shelter Island Police Department at (631)749-0600.
