Signature Quilt

   Bed & Breakfast

ABOUT

ABOUT

Located in the scenic and historic village of Gilbertsville, New York, the Signature Quilt Bed & Breakfast has provided its customers with the very best of service since it opened in 1999.

Gilbertsville is 30 minutes from Oneonta and 45 minutes from Cooperstown. It is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building that has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing.

The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to The Majors Inn and just steps from The Value Way

Country Store, a local ice cream shop, and the studios of various craftspeople and artists.

The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured

along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley.

Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history.

We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of snacks, cereals, muffins, breads or cakes to eat.
