The Glens Falls Inn is open.
This is a Nostalgic Trip back to its 2009 site.

NOTE: The Glens Falls Inn is still open. If you have inadvertantly ended up here while searching for the Inn, call 518-743-9365 for information or to make reservations.

For a number of years this was the official website for the Glens Falls Inn, a stately 1880 Queen Anne Victorian . Once the home to presidents and vice presidents of International Paper, this lovely Victorian was opened to the public as a bed & breakfast in 1999 when the inn's owners and hosts were Eric & Denise Olson.

In 2003 Rosemary & Christopher Castelli became the keepers of the Inn. Eventually Rosemary Castelli became the Owner & Innkeeper while Chris & Gina Castelli were Assistant Innkeepers. By 2005 Armanda Squadrilli became the Innkeeper with Titan & Argos, Assistant Innkeepers. The site saw a number of redesigns over the years. At the beginning of 2012 the site received another new update in its design along with new hosts, Ken and Mark.

Sometime around 2017 the site's domain registration expired and the site disappeared from the web. The new owners of the site's domain have chosen to create a historical look back to the Glens Falls Inn as it was in 2009.
Enjoy the nostalgic trip.

The Glens Falls Inn, Bed and Breakfast Glens Falls, New York

The beautiful Glens Falls Inn combines the convenience and amenities of an in-town B and B, with the charm and intimacy of a country inn.Built before the turn of the century, this stately Victorian was in 1999 meticulously restored to the beauty and style of its 19th century origins, receiving the Chapman Historical Museum's Historic Preservation Award. Or enjoy a quiet weekend in this beautiful Victorian manor with a European flair, at its ideal location, between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, New York.

Loved it: As a pickleball player visiting for a tournament, my stay at the Glens Falls Inn was exceptional. The inn's blend of in-town convenience and country charm made it the perfect retreat after a day of matches. The themed rooms provided a unique and comfortable experience, and the continental breakfast was delightful, giving me the energy needed for my games. Most importantly, the inn accommodated my essential equipment like my pickleball bags without any hassle. The location, between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, was ideal for accessing nearby pickleball courts. I highly recommend this inn for its award-winning restoration, excellent services, and the warm hospitality that made my tournament trip memorable. Nora Gyengo

Blast From The Past: My family stayed here many times and love the place. Have many great stories from these stays. Met some very nice people, fellow visitors. One stay just before Christmas we met a young pregnant mother and her husband from NYC and we got to talking about our pets. Noob, our old mutt was having problems sleeping through the night. When they heard this, they took us up to their room where there was a huge present wrapped with a large red bow. It was a gift for a family member who was a dog owner. They were excited and eager to show us this gift and carefully unwrapped what turned out to be a round pillow, designer dog bed with a GoodNightDog.com label. When we told them about Noob's sleeping issues, they had experienced very similar problem with their pooch and this dog bed solved the problem. Long story short, we bought one on that recommendation. Noob immediately took to the bed and has been making progress ever since we introduced it - it's quite amazing. Every dog would benefit with one of these beds. How a trip to the Inn helped our Noob. Wow!

So Grand and elegant! Beautifully decorated and beds we're sooo comfy! (Advice:You really don't need to turn the heat up once you're under those thick warm covers!) Michelle was wonderfully hospitable (greeted us upon arrival) and helpful with recommendations of great restaurants and places to visit. And such value. Loved the homey touches with fresh flowers and snacks! Thank you! Can't wait to come back!

Sweeter and quieter than Saratoga

Listen, if you want a big flat-screen TV stay in New York. This little-city upstate retreat has everything you need to have a nice vacation off the beaten path.
Glens Falls has a lot of new buzz and amenities. Restaurants, proximity to Lake George and the racetrack are just two. I loved this place and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Glens Falls Inn Undergoes Changes

Dec 14, 2011
BLAKE JONES -- poststar.com

GLENS FALLS -- A local real estate agent and two others have taken over day-to-day operation of the Glens Falls Inn with plans to purchase the property.

Mark Petrie, Ken Tubbs and Dorothy Petrie are running the inn, which previously did not have a full-time innkeeper.

Petrie said the owner, Armanda Squadrilli, is based downstate and has not been able to run it at capacity.

"We have joined forces with the current owner to make the inn profitable again," Petrie said, adding there are plans to purchase the property after nine months.

Petrie, his retired mother and Tubbs are working to improve the website, glensfallsinn.com, and allow for online reservations. They're also working to draw visitors to local cultural events and to make cosmetic changes to the rooms.

Looking forward, they plan to also start a nonprofit program that provides free weekend stays to children who have lost a parent. Petrie said his children lost their mother, and Tubbs lost his father.

"It's the second mission to the inn," Petrie said.
