Bernadette Bos has expressed herself through her art in a number of media and drawn from a wide range of subject matter. A native of The Netherlands, Bernadette spent over two decades training competition horses in Belgium, England, Australia, New Zealand, California, Japan and New York, respectively.

January 30, 2017 (BETHEL, NY) - On the heels of a #1 album, a chart-topping radio hit and a sold out first leg of a global tour, iconic rock band KINGS OF LEON announces that they will be adding a new leg of their WALLS tour, traveling to all new U.S. cities stopping at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, August 6th, 2017. The Grammy Award-winning group will kick off the tour's second leg on April 28th in Chula Vista, CA and make its way around the country before concluding August 26th at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA. Additionally, the tour will feature special guest Deerhunter on its April & May dates and Nathaniel Rateliff on its July & August dates.

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, 2017. Founded in 1978 by jazz impresario George Wein, Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival is the fifth longest-consecutive-running jazz festival in North America.

New York, N.Y. - Taking as its focus one of The Met's most captivating masterpieces, this thematic exhibition affords a unique context for appreciating the heritage and allure of Circus Sideshow (Parade de cirque), painted in 1887-88, by Georges Seurat (1859-91). Anchored by a remarkable group of related works by Seurat that fully illuminates the lineage of the motif in his inimitable conté crayon drawings, the presentation explores the fascination the sideshow subject held for other artists in the 19th century, ranging from the great caricaturist Honoré Daumier at mid-century to the young Pablo Picasso a t the fin de siècle.

Bethel Woods Food & Art Supply Drive

Benefiting the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless 

Bethel, N.Y. (January 26, 2017) - Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has recently announced its fifth annual food drive to benefit the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless. The organization will seek to collect food items for those community members in need, as well as art supplies to nourish the spirits of children and adults alike.

Romulus, N.Y. - Swedish Hill Winery, located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, is maintaining its position as a top award-winning winery with its recent addition of one double gold and two gold medals from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (SFCWC). The winery won a double gold medal for its 2015 Riesling and a gold medal for both its 2015 Blue Waters Pinot Grigio and Blanc de Blanc. In addition to the gold medals, they brought home five silver and two bronze medals.
