Bethel, NY (January 29, 2018) – Legendary Who frontman and Woodstock ’69 alum Roger Daltrey will be performing the band’s most iconic masterpiece this summer, the groundbreaking TOMMY, on a special 10 city solo tour featuring full orchestral backing.  The tour will open in Bethel, NY on Friday, June 8th at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, where Daltrey and his band will be joined on stage by the acclaimed Hudson Valley Philharmonic, showcasing the beloved classics from the 1969 rock opera, including “Pinball Wizard,” “See Me, Feel Me” and more.

Hanford Mills Museum Ice Harvest FestivalAnnual festival offers hands-on history and winter fun 

East Meredith, NY – Hanford Mills Museum will hold the Ice Harvest Festival on Saturday, February 3. Adults and children can take part in a traditional ice harvest using historic tools and techniques. Before refrigeration, cutting ice from frozen ponds and rivers was an essential winter activity. The ice was stored in ice houses until it was needed in the warmer months to keep food and milk cold.
