Newly Designated Free Fishing Day Set for Veterans Day, November 11

Albany, N.Y. -- Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that New York State residents and visitors may fish for free without a fishing license in any of the state's 7,500 lakes and ponds and 50,000 miles of rivers and streams during the weekend of June 27-28. Saltwater anglers may also fish in marine waters for migratory marine fish species without enrolling in the Recreational Marine Fishing Registry.

Father's Day Weekend, June 20-21: Events Showcase Rich New York Culture and Heritage 

Albany, N.Y. - Empire State Development (ESD) announces Path Through History Weekend, June 20-21. The weekend will feature nearly 300 events at historic venues across the state.
