City Service Ladder Truck by Tom Edmonds 2018Southampton, N.Y. – The Southampton Fire Department’s Antique Truck Committee is dusting off their finest historic fire trucks to be shown on the grounds of the Rogers Mansion on Saturday, September 4, 11 am to 4 pm. The City Service Ladder Truck made in 1912 will be a featured attraction. Historic fire-fighting equipment will be on display and include many of Southampton's historic fire trucks. Volunteer firemen and women will answer questions and give demonstrations. Admission is free.

Bloomingdale Block Party - Face PaintingBloomingdale, NY –  On Saturday, September 4, 2021, the St. Armand Youth Task Force is introducing the first annual Bloomingdale Block Party. This carnival-like event is being held as a fun get-together for community members and to raise money for local non-profit organizations.

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. join the festivities, with live music, carnival games, face painting, food, and more. Activities will be held at the Youth Field (15 Roosevelt Street), behind the Bloomingdale Fire Department.

Kingston, N.Y. (August 17, 2021) – Janet Hicks, the Director of Kingston’s One Mile Gallery announces the OMG Art Faire (OMG). The fair will feature a curated selection of fine art galleries, who represent artists working in photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media, video, and digital. OMG will begin with a VIP opening on the evening of September 30th and will remain open to the public through Sunday, October 3rd at the historic Wall Street Music Hall in Kingston’s Stockade ‘uptown’ area.

The weekend-long Symposium is for people with a passion for boating and building boats, boat owners, and everyone in between.  This year’s Symposium offers sessions on flipping boats for bottom work, vacuum bagging, rebuilding a Scripps 302, and finishing Mosquito, a project boat for the last couple of Symposiums.

Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation (ECHDC) and Buffalo Waterfront Management Group (BWMG) today announced that the canals at Canalside are converted into a giant roller rink that is now open and will roll through the fall season until October 31. At more than 30,000 square feet, the Roller Rink at Canalside, in partnership with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, is the largest outdoor roller-skating rink in New York State.

Alexander, N.Y. – The annual Western New York Gas & Steam Association Rally returns for its 54th year from Sep. 9 through 12, 2021. This year’s event honors “International Harvester & Miniature Models” and will feature hundreds of exhibitors displaying a wide range of rare, beautifully preserved and restored items. Event attendees can admire working and static displays of equipment from yesteryear, such as Antique Tractors, Steam Engines, Gas Engines, Stationary & Hit 'N Miss Engines and more. In addition to the 2-acre flea market that runs all weekend, this year’s rally includes a Consignment Auction beginning at 10 a.m. on Sep. 9, 2021.
