Bethel, NY (October 5th, 2020) – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, today announced that the nonprofit cultural organization, together with a talented collection of Broadway stars, Emmy and Tony winners, and songwriters proudly presents Broadway Boosts Bethel on October 22nd at 7:00 PM.

Hosted by Tony Award-winner BD Wong (M.Butterfly, Father of the Bride, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), this special fundraising video combines Broadway talent with the Center’s historic legacy, featuring artists performing songs from the Sixties of their choosing.

Planting Fields FoundationOyster Bay, New York – Planting Fields Foundation (“Planting Fields” or “the Foundation”) has opened two new Coe Hall estate tours.

The new estate tours are entitled, “A View from Coe Hall” and “A Place to Rest Your Head”.  These new experiences in Coe Hall represent the first time in nearly three decades that the estate tours have been recreated and renewed. Each tour was reviewed in a rigorous testing process with the Foundation’s experienced guides and docents.  Each tour tells a distinct story about the founders, the family, the love and legacy of art, architecture, horticulture, and preservation.  “A View from Coe Hall” has also been crafted to ensure full accessibility to visitors with mobility devices and will take visitors to the Cloister Garden as well as select rooms within the house.

Rochester, N.Y., October 8, 2020—The George Eastman Museum officially cut the ribbon to open its new Thomas Tischer Visitor Center this morning at a 10 a.m. press conference. The Thomas Tischer Visitor Center includes the ESL Federal Credit Union Pavilion, which will serve as the museum’s new main entrance, located next to the Dryden Theatre. The transformative project, costing more than $5 million, was made possible by funding from a combination of philanthropy from individuals and private foundations, local corporate support, and a grant from the State of New York.
