Goshen, NY (May 19, 2021) – LEGOLAND® New York Resort is open for previews beginning May 29, 2021, welcoming devoted fans to share in the next step in the theme park’s much-anticipated opening this summer. During this stage of LEGOLAND New York’s phased opening, Annual Pass and single-day ticket holders will be able to enjoy six of the Resort’s seven themed lands: Brick Street, Bricktopia, LEGO® City, LEGO® Castle, LEGO® NINJAGO® World and MINILAND. The final land, LEGO® Pirates, will open later this summer, as will LEGOLAND® Hotel.

Darien Center, N.Y. (April 30, 2021) — Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America, today announced that Mark Kane has been named park president of the company’s Buffalo, New York-based, Six Flags Darien Lake. Kane succeeds Chris Thorpe who was promoted to a new role of regional vice president after more than 10 years at the helm. Kane most recently served as a park president in the company’s International Development Division.

Six Flags Darien LakeThe Park is Filling Over 1,500 Positions and Preparing for the Upcoming Season

Darien Center, N.Y. — February 19, 2021 — Six Flags Darien Lake, the Thrill Capital of New York, is reopening on May 21, 2021 based on the guidelines set by the State of New York and its Governor. The park will unveil extensive safety and security measures including quick and contactless security and temperature checks for guests and team members. Convenient mobile ordering will also be available at many locations. The park is converting to a cash to a card kiosk system, accepting only Mobile and Card Payments to further enhance the safety of guests and team members.

As the park awaits state guidance on a reopening date, this mid-winter break extravaganza offers guests a rocking soundtrack of today’s greatest hits set to a full spectrum of laser lights, special effects, and more all enjoyed from the comfort and safety of their cars.

Destiny USA Press ReleaseSyracuse, NY (August 6, 2020) – On August 7, 2020, the Canyon Climb ropes course and Laser Tag at WonderWorks will be opening to the public. This is following a 5-month closure due to COVID-19. Though these two attractions have been given clearance to open, the rest of the WonderWorks facility will not be open at this time.

Canyon Climb Adventure is a three-story ropes course that features over 80 obstacles, including swinging steps, lily pads, a tremor bridge, and more. Participants must be at least 42" tall to participate. Closed shoes are required, and no skirts or dresses are permitted.

In accordance with New York State’s phased reopening requirements and CDC guidelines, Six Flags Darien Lake is now taking reservations requests for its various cabins, campsites, and RV rentals. Guests will also have access to limited dining and retail amenities in Darien Square including the General Store, Pizza in the Square, and the Arcade. The campground will provide a safe and clean get-away for families looking to spend quality time outdoors.

Six Flags Donates PonchosPonchos Provide a Protective Barrier for Health Care Workers and Patients
