Cuomo today announced the launch of the I LOVE NEW YORK Bus, a new year-round tourism initiative that offers transportation from New York City to destinations across the state. The service is a result of feedback received during the Governor's second Tourism Summit to increase transportation access to tourism opportunities in New York, and connects riders to some of the state's most popular getaway experiences, including wine, beer and cider trails, seasonal festivals and skiing in Upstate New York.

I LOVE NEW YORK launches the "Foliage Photog of the Week" social media campaign to promote tourism this fall in New York State using #NYLovesFall

Albany, NY (September 10, 2014) - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced this season's first I LOVE NEW YORK fall foliage report, which charts color foliage conditions across the State, is available beginning today and will be updated every Wednesday through the end of autumn. Additionally, I LOVE NEW YORK is introducing a complementary "Foliage Photog of the Week" social media campaign that will select and promote one photograph each week through November that is tagged using #NYLovesFall to promote autumn tourism in New York.

Wild Center in NYCTupper Lake, N.Y. - This month millions of commuters are getting a taste of Tupper Lake and the Adirondacks, courtesy of a brand new ad now running on subways, buses and signs in and around New York City. The ad features an image from the Raquette River taken by Wild Center board member, Rick Godin, a few years ago.

Hillarie Logan-Dechene, the Center's Director of Philanthropy, recently attended the Governor's Tourism Summit and was approached by an I LOVE NEW YORK staff member who wanted to include the Center in their ‘Get Outta Town' campaign. I LOVE NEW YORK, the state tourism bureau, launched the campaign last year, encouraging those in New York City to explore other areas of the state.

Albany, N.Y. (May 14, 2014) - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today hosted New York State's second Tourism Summit. Building on last year's unprecedented support, the Governor announced the state's commitment of $45 million to promote statewide tourism, create jobs, and attract even more visitors to the Empire State. This 50 percent increase in state funding over the last year gives New York one of the largest state-funded tourism programs in the nation. The Governor also unveiled a new tourism advertising campaign featuring Ed Burns, Steve Buscemi, Billy Joel, Robert De Niro, Michael Strahan, Meryl Streep and Vanessa Williams.
