Saratoga Springs, NY (March 6, 2024) – Saratoga Performing Arts Center announces its Summer SPACtacular is back for its second annual event on Friday, May 31 from 5:00 – 11:30 p.m. to benefit SPAC’s mission, year-round programming, and education initiatives. The season kick-off fundraiser will feature an expansive celebration across the SPAC grounds that includes live music, a multi-course “Summerscape Supper,” culinary tastings, cocktails, a new “glow lounge” with mocktails and tarot card readings, fireworks, and a dance party on SPAC’s historic stage.

Saratoga Springs, NY – Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) announces that in honor of Earth Day, it will present Here on Earth with trailblazing pianist, speaker and activist Lara Downes and celebrated chamber ensemble Miró Quartet. Slated for April 21 at 3 p.m. at the Spa Little Theater, the special project was developed at SPAC and is presented in partnership with the Skidmore College Department of Music.

Tang-Atrium-09820Multigenerational workshops feature viewing art, making art

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (January 26) — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College announces the return of its popular Family Saturdays, with two workshops each month from February through May. The first Family Saturday will be on February 3 at 2 pm. For Family Saturday: Floating Sculptures, participants will view Steve Roden’s spatial score in the Tang atrium, talk about it, and create their own floating sculptures using tissue paper, cardstock, and string.
