Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (January 26) — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College announces the return of its popular Family Saturdays, with two workshops each month from February through May. The first Family Saturday will be on February 3 at 2 pm. For Family Saturday: Floating Sculptures, participants will view Steve Roden’s spatial score in the Tang atrium, talk about it, and create their own floating sculptures using tissue paper, cardstock, and string.

Friends of Taconic State Park and Volunteers Support Family-Friendly Attraction

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is calling “all aboard” at Taconic State Park, welcoming the first and only full-scale railroad in our parks. Supported by Friends of Taconic State Park (FTSP) and Pomeroy Family Railroad, this attraction will showcase the historic Copake Iron Works in Taconic State Park.
